Join us for an evening talk about Ash Dieback, the disease threatening the abundance of one of our native British tree species.
There are c. 90 million ash trees in the UK - but for how much longer? With up to 90% of all ash trees expected to succumb to the disease within the next couple of years, what will the demise of the ash mean for our countryside?
Come along and find out more from Dr Keith Kirby and the Conservator of the Woods, Nigel Fisher, who will examine the spread of the disease and its possible effects on biodiversity within the UK and on a more local scale within Wytham Woods.
'The Dying Embers' exhibition will be on display in the Wytham Room at the Museum of Natural History until the end of April 2020.
